In an interview with reporters on Monday, Seyfried revealed that her 5-year-old daughter Nina had cried after hearing the news that her mom had won an Emmy for her work in The Dropout.

According to her, her kid had been crying because she couldn’t figure out why her mother was calling her from the television. It was time for her to turn to bed. To the classroom, she goes in the morning! To be honest, I was taken aback by that response.

I need to talk to Nina when I come home, she continued. Monday night, Seyfried, 36, accepted her first Emmy from presenters Chris O’Donnell and Shemar Moore and said it felt great.

Seyfried took the stage to thank the Television Academy, the show’s creator Liz Meriweather, and executive producer Michael Showalter for their roles in making her a part of this incredible group of performers.

Seyfried described the experience as “the happiest period of my life” despite its difficulty. Please extend my gratitude to my agents of the past 16 years, Abby Bluestone, Scott, Morrie, and Gary.

She went on to say that she wanted to thank her family very much for their support. Hello, bud, you have to head to bed now, but I wanted to say thanks. She went on to extend her gratitude to her mother, father, husband, and children, as well as to their canine companion, Finn. I truly appreciate it.

Seyfried gave the performance of Elizabeth Holmes in The Dropout. Holmes was a charismatic woman whose dreams led to her incarceration as she raised millions of dollars in venture capital on the promise of a game-changing medical technology that did not really exist. Seyfried played Elizabeth Holmes.

At the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, where the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards were held, NBC provided live coverage of the event.
