In 2012, he made his first film appearance as Siva (a student who is forced to drop out of college to work with the liquor mafia) in the Telugu romantic thriller film Neeku Naaku Dash Dash. He co-starred in the film alongside Nanditha Raj.

Prince Cecil brought to life the character of Seenu in the 2012 Telugu-language romantic drama film Bus Stop.

He appeared as a contestant on the debut season of the Telugu-language television reality show Bigg Boss in 2017. His fellow contestants included Aadarsh Balakrishna, Siva Balaji, Diksha Panth, Mumaith Khan, Sampoornesh Babu, Kalpana Raghavendar, Madhu Priya, Mahesh Kathi, and others.
